In the present writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 03.09.2024 (Annexure P-8), vide which, departmental proceedings were ordered to be initiated against the petitioner. It is the case of the petitioner that the departmental proceedings initiated against the petitioner should be kept in abeyance till the conclusion of the criminal proceedings pending in FIR No.151 dated 23.07.2023, under Sections 447, 427, 506 & 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Dasuya, District Hoshiarpur, as neither any challan or charge-sheet is presented in the case nor sanction to prosecute the petitioner has been taken. 2.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Sh. Sukhchain Singh, Head Constable, submits that nothing survives in the present writ petition as during the pendency of the present writ petition, the departmental proceedings initiated against the petitioner have been concluded and order of RAMANDEEP SINGH 2026.04.18 13:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-29471-2024 (O&M) 2 punishment of censure has been imposed upon the petitioner vide order dated 25.6.2025.

Taking into consideration the facts of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of as no relief can be granted to the petitioner. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file an application for revival of the present writ petition, if any cause still survives. 4.
