***** ARCHANA PURI, J. (Oral) Ms. Srishti Shukla, Advocate, has made appearance on behalf of the respondent and filed Power of Attorney, which is taken on record. At this stage, she has given a statement that the respondent has no objection, if the transfer application is accepted and the guardianship petition is transferred.
The present transfer application has been filed by the applicantmother, for seeking transfer of the petition under Section 25 of the Hindu Marriage Act i.e. GW/3/2024, titled 'Rajan Verma Vs. Priyanka Verma', filed by the respondent-father (husband of the applicant), pending in the Family Court (Camp Court) Nabha, District Patiala and she seeks transfer of the same to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Sunam, District Sangrur. On account of broken status of marriage, the parties are residing separate, as evident from the application. There is one son born from the SONU 2026.04.09 09:00 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
TA-1181-2025 estranged marriage, who is about 7 years old and he is in the care and custody of the applicant.
Considering the aforesaid fact situation and also considering the statement made by the counsel for the respondent, the transfer application is allowed and the petition under Section 25 of the Hindu Marriage Act i.e. GW/3/2024, titled 'Rajan Verma Vs. Priyanka Verma', filed by the respondent-father (husband of the applicant), stands transferred from the Family Court (Camp Court) Nabha, District Patiala, to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Sunam, District Sangrur. The requisite record of the aforesaid case be sent by the Family Court (Camp Court) Nabha, to the District and Sessions Judge, Sangrur.
Learned District and Sessions Judge, Sangrur, shall assign the said petition to the Family Court (Camp Court) Sunam. Even, the parties are directed to appear before the Family Court (Camp Court) Sunam, within a period of one month from today onwards.
