1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an order was passed by the Single Judge granting benefit to the petitioner along with others in CWP-17358-2015 decided on 09.09.2016. The said order was challenged in LPA-37-2017 wherein the Division Bench also passed an order in their favour, but now by another other dated 18.10.2023, the petitioner's pension has been revised on the lower side.

2. Contrary to the law laid down, this Court is of firm view that that order passed on 18.10.2023 as alleged, would give the petitioner a fresh cause of action to challenge before this Court. However, it cannot be said that contempt is made out of the earlier order.

3. Contempt petition stands dismissed.
