Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and personal liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No.4 to 7 as petitioners are living together against the wishes of private respondents. It is further prayed to direct the official respondents not to implicate the petitioners in any false criminal case at the instance of private respondents. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that at present petitioner No.1 is 17 years 05 months old and as such she is a minor whereas petitioner No.2 is major. Petitioners No.1 and 2 are living together in livein-relationship as respondents No.4 to 7 are pressurizing petitioner No.1 to perform marriage with a boy of their choice but she is not ready to perform the marriage there. It is also submitted that petitioners have filed representation before respondent No.2 i.e. the Senior Superintendent of MEENU 2024.10.28 17:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Police, Ferozepur, Punjab. He submits that the petitioners would approach

On asking of the Court, Mr.Tarun Aggarwal, Sr.DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State. 5.
Let petitioner No.1 approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur, respondent No.2, within two days from today. On her doing so, respondent No.2 would take necessary action for sending her to Nari Niketan, Jalandhar, till she attains majority and if the need be, necessary protection would also be granted to her and other petitioners. 6.
Disposed of in above-said terms.
