(Oral) This petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the instructions, dated 09.09.2022, to the extent it stipulates that employees, who have been appointed under Outsourcing Policy Part-II against the sanctioned posts, can continue only till 31.12.2022. 2.

Learned State counsel contends that as per latest instructions of the government, dated 19.12.2023, it has been decided that engagement of employees, like the petitioners, under Outsourcing Policy Part-II will continue up to 31.12.2024. It has also been clarified therein that their services will be liable to be terminated in case regular appointment is made.
