Status report dated 24.02.2024, by way of an affidavit of Krishan Kumar, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, CAW, Panipat has been filed by learned State counsel on behalf of the respondent/State along with Annexures in Court today, which is taken on record. 2.
Learned State counsel has submitted that, in fact, all the prosecution witnesses have been examined and the trial is at a fag end. 3.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner contains his prayer only to the extent of expediting the trial. 4.
In light of the above and considering the fact that all the prosecution witnesses have been examined, the present petition is disposed of at this stage. The trial Court is directed to complete the trial expeditiously, preferably within a period of 03 months from today.
