Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.129 dated 25.04.2019, under Sections 406 and 420 of the IPC, registered at P.S. Sector 17, District Faridabad.

Today, the learned State counsel has filed a status report, on affidavit of Rajiv Kumar, H.P.S., Assistant Commissioner of Police, Central, Faridabad, which is taken on record.

A perusal of the status report reveals that, in the present FIR, the Final Report has not been presented against the petitioners, inasmuch as, nothing incriminating has been found against them. The relevant paragraph of the status report is reproduced hereunder:- "5. That both the petitioners in the present criminal petition are the DEVINDER YADAV 2024.08.23 17:09 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-52361-2019 relatives of arrested accused Paras Jain, they were served notice under Section 160 of the Cr.P.C. and have joined investigation and after a meticulous scrutiny of the evidence and the material available on the record, nothing incriminating has been found against them."

In view of the disclosure(s) (supra) made in the status report, no further direction is required to be passed. Therefore, the instant petition is closed.

Disposed of accordingly.
