The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 29.05.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-15582-2025, whereby direction was issued to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioners for grant of increment and to pass a reasoned and speaking order.

In compliance of the order dated 29.05.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-15582-2025, learned counsel for the respondents produced a copy of speaking order dated 12.12.2025 passed by the Engineer-in-Chief, Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Haryana, Panchkula. The same is taken on record. A copy thereof has already been dispatched to all the petitioners.

A perusal of the compliance report shows that order dated 29.05.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-15582-2025 has been complied with.

In view of the above, since order dated 29.05.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-15582-2025, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 5.

Liberty is, however, granted to the petitioners to avail remedy as is available to them in accordance with law to challenge the speaking order dated 12.12.2025 passed by the Engineer-in-Chief, Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Haryana, Panchkula.
