(Oral) Learned State counsel has today furnished a copy of order dated 22.2.2024 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Chandigarh vide which petitioner - Vivek Kumar upon having been convicted, has been ordered to be released on probation. Copy of aforesaid order dated 22.2.2024 is taken on record.

Learned State counsel submitted that in view of the aforestated position, the instant petition, whereby the petitioner has challenged order dated 2.11.2023 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Chandigarh declaring him as a proclaimed offender, is rendered infructuous inasmuch no proceedings under Section 174-A of Indian Penal Code were ever initiated.
