The same are taken on record. Registry is directed to verify the deposit of costs by the petitioners with the concerned quarters.

Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.272 dated 30.10.2018 registered under Sections 406, 420, 120-B IPC at Police Station Civil Lines, District Patiala, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties. Pursuant to order dated 05.12.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Patiala, on 17.12.2019 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Patiala, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.409 RAVINDER SINGH 2020.03.07 14:13 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2CRM-M-51783 of 2019 dated 19.12.2019, duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Patiala, vide letter No.7968/AL dated 21.12.2019. According to the above report, compromise effected between the parties is voluntary without any pressure, threat or coercion. Therefore, in view of above and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, FIR No.272 dated 30.10.2018 registered under Sections 406, 420, 120-B IPC at Police Station Civil Lines, District Patiala, and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed.

Disposed of accordingly.
