(ORAL) There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner today. Through this second petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.42 dated 01.03.2016, registered under Sections 420, 406 IPC, at Police Station Mukerian, District Hoshiarpur. Vide order dated 22.12.2022 passed by a Coordinate Bench this Court, the petitioner had been granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join the investigation.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Avtar Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is now not required for any further investigation.

In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 22.12.2022 granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Cr.PC. 07.08.2023 (HARNARESH SINGH GILL) Aman Jain JUDGE Whether reasoned/speaking?
