**** HARKESH MANUJA, J. (ORAL) By way of present petition filed under Section 482 CrPC, prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondents to complete the investigation in FIR No.89 dated 29.04.2023 registered under Sections 420 and 120-B IPC at P.S. City Gurdaspur, District Gurdaspur.

Learned State counsel on telephonic instructions from Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur submits that the investigation shall be concluded within a period of two months and final report shall be presented thereupon before the Illaqa Magistrate. 3.
In view thereof, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition.

Disposed of as having not been pressed, however, in case no final report is submitted by Investigating Agency within two months from today, the petitioner shall be at liberty to seek revival of present petition by moving an appropriate application with advance copy to learned State counsel whereupon, at the time of listing of the said application, Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur shall remain present in Court to explain the delay in filing of the final report especially when the FIR pertains to April, 2023.
