Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution praying for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 & 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 8.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. 3.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from the police official concerned, has apprised the Court that as on today, there is no threat to life and liberty of either of the petitioners.
