That in order to ascertain the possible threat to the petitioner at the hands of the private respondents, an inquiry upon the representation moved by the petitioner has been conducted by Incharge, Women Help-desk, Patiala who has joined both the petitioner and her family members i.e. respondents No.4 to 6 in the inquiry and recorded respective statements of the parties. The petitioner has stated in her statement that now there is no interference of her parents or brother in her life and she is free to live anywhere she wants. The respondent No.5 Kiranpreet Kaur (mother of petitioner) stated in her statement that she or her family members will not interfere in the life of the petitioner and nor will they compel her to come back home.
