FIR No.
Dated Police Station Sections 22.06.2018 Jhander , Distt.
Amritsar (Rural) Punjab 21/22/61/85 of NDPS Act Seeking quashing of the order dated 10.10.2024 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar arising out of the above captioned FIR, vide which the personal bonds furnished by the petitioner have been cancelled and forfeited to the State and nonbailable warrants were issued, petitioner has come up before this Court by filing the present petition under Section 482 CrPC.
2.
Petitioner's counsel submits that pursuant to bail granted to him, he furnished personal bonds and seeks time to furnish surety bonds. Due to his inability to arrange surety, trial Court cancelled his personal bonds and issued non-bailable warrants against him and same is apparent from the order dated 10.10.2024. Petitioner now seeks further time to furnish surety.

Given above, impugned order dated 10.10.2024 is quashed and time to furnish surety bond, is extended till 29.11.2024. It is clarified that if petitioner fails to furnish surety bonds by the given date, in that case, this order shall stand recalled automatically u/s 403 r/w 528 BNSS 2023.
