(Oral) After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition with liberty to enable the petitioner to apply afresh, for re-issue of passport in accordance with law. Mr. Pritpal Singh Miglani, Central Government Counsel, puts in appearance on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 2, as a copy of the petition was supplied to him in advance.

Ms. Ambika Bedi, AAG, Punjab, puts in appearance on behalf of respondent No.3, as a copy of the petition was supplied to her in advance. Learned counsels for the respondents raise no objection to the limited prayer noticed above.
