JA01C4091570623 dated 31.07.2023 at Regional passport Office, Jalandhar. The said application was processed subject to receipt of pre-police verification report. However, the concerned police authority submitted an adverse report with the remarks that "FIR No.142 dated 19.08.2019 U/S 447, 511, 506, 427, 148, 149 IPC PS Sadar and now applicant get permission from the court of Ms. Monika Lamba PCS/ACJM Kapurthala to renewal his passport with CRR No. CRR/16/2022. Local police have no objection to renewal his passport.

That in view of the aforesaid adverse police verification, a letter dated 02.09.2023 (Annexure R-1) followed by letter dated 14.06.2024 (Annexure R-2) was issued to the petitioner requiring clarification and submission of requisite documents. However, the petitioner failed to respond to the said communication.

5. That due to non-compliance by the petitioner, the passport application file no.JA01C4091570623 was closed on 28.01.2025, and an intimation to this effect was duly sent to the petitioner vide letter of even date (Annexure R-3).

That it is further submitted that the petitioner had previously filed a CWP No.23398 of 2025 in the same matter, which was dismissed as withdrawn by this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 13.08.2025 (Annexure R-4). It is pertinent to mention that presently no passport application is pending with the answering respondent in respect of the petitioner.

7. That the petitioner, if so advised, may submit a fresh passport application in accordance with rules and procedure, clearly mentioning the previous file number and enclosing necessary permission from the competent trial court, if required.
