The case of the petitioner is that she was working as Maid in the house of respondent Nos.4 & 5. Her 12 years old son was also living with her. Some time in September 2018, the petitioner had to go to Delhi for certain work and therefore, she left her child in the care of respondent Nos.4 & 5. Thereafter, she returned after about two weeks and found her child missing. The petitioner has learnt that an FIR No.178 dated 10.11.2018 under Section 346 IPC has been got registered at P.S Division No.3, Ludhiana by respondent No.4 alleging that the child of the petitioner had left the house after committing theft.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that despite the FIR having been registered way back in November 2018, neither worthwhile investigation has been carried out nor has the child of the petitioner been recovered. It is stated that the petitioner filed a detailed representation dated 22.3.2019 (P.1) addressed amongst others to respondent No.2Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana inter alia, alleging that respondent Nos.4 MANOJ KUMAR 2019.12.06 08:56 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-51833 of 2019 #2# & 5 have possibily thrown her child out of the house but no action thereon has been taken as yet.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case or opining on the veracity of the allegations contained in the representation, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to look into the grievance of the petitioner, as raised by her in the application (P.1) expeditiously considering that the child of the petitioner is missing for the last over one year.
