The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondents No. 1 to 4 to conduct a fair, proper and speedy investigation in representation dated 12.05.2023 (Annexure P-1) submitted by the petitioner and for further grant of protection of life and liberty of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner having failed to demonstrate that how a petition through GPA would be maintainable seeking protection of life and liberty of a person who residing abroad, prays for withdrawal of the present petition.

Although the Court was inclined to impose exemplary cost upon the petitioner, however, taking a lenient view, the cost is not being imposed.

In light of the above, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case.
