***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur (Punjab) to look into the matter to the limited extent as regards the alleged threat perception of the petitioner and to dispose of the representation dated 13.12.2022 (Annexure P-1) expeditiously in accordance with law. In case it is found that there is any gunine threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps as may be warranted under law be taken thereupon at the earliest so as to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner in any manner.
