Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., prayer is made for issuance of directions upon the respondents No.2 and 3 to hand-over the investigation of the case bearing FIR No.105 dated 09.09.2023, under Sections 452, 323, 324, 379-B, 427, 506, 148, 149 of the IPC (Sections 325, 326 of the IPC added subsequently), registered at P.S. Sadar Nakodar, District Jalandhar (Rural), to a Special Investigation Team of I.P.S. Officers.

At the outset itself, the learned State counsel, on instructions imparted to him by the official concerned, informs this Court that, consequent upon completion of investigation, the Final Report in the present FIR has already been presented on 26.07.2024. 3.

On account of the supervening events (supra), the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not want to press the instant DEVINDER YADAV 2024.08.14 18:42 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

Consequently, the instant petition is dismissed, as not pressed. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to, in case, his grievance yet survives, approach the learned trial Court/Magistrate concerned for redressal thereof.
