**** SANJAY VASHISTH, J. (Oral) On 23.01.2023 following order was passed by this Court: "In compliance of order dated 22.12.2022, learned State counsel has filed status report dated 20.01.2023 on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 4 (State) and same is taken on record. Registry is directed to tag the same at appropriate place.

As per the stand taken in para 4 of the status report, statements of respondents No. 5 to 8 and several other persons were recorded by the police. As per investigation done by the State, alleged detenue Vijay Kumar Mukhiya was working in Decco Plywood, Village Naharpur, District Yamuna Nagar and had left the labour quarter situated at village Naharpur District Yamuna Nagar on 24.06.2022 at his own level.

It is also clarified that during the course of investigation to find out the whereabouts of Vijay Kumar, missing report alongwith photographs of said Vijay Kumar was circulated on the television, the pamphlets regarding his search were also circulated in Haryana RIYA 2023.03.16 10:26 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Faced with situation, counsel seeks time to collect some additional information.

Today, Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail appropriate remedy, available to him, under the law.
