The petitioner seeks issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to immediately look into the representation/Legal Notice dated 18.6.2024 (Annexure P-2) and also to direct the police officials to take action against respondents No.5 to 12.

Short reply by way of affidavit of Shri Sanjeev Kumar, P.P.S., Deputy Superintendent of Police (City), Police District Batala, Gurdaspur has been filed by learned State counsel, which is taken on record. It has been deposed in the aforesaid reply that FIR has already been lodged. 3.

Faced with the aforesaid position, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition. 4.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
