The petitioner has filed the present Criminal Writ Petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer to issue a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus to direct the respondents no.2 and 3 to produce the detenue namely Jaswant Singh son of Jasmail Singh, who was illegally taken away by respondents No.4 to 8 .

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Jaideep Singh submits that Jaswant Singh, alleged detenue has been arrested in a case FIR No.32 dated 13.05.2023 under Sections 346, 182, 211(2) IPC (Section 364 IPC added lateron) at Police Station Sadiq Faridkot. 3.

In view of the statement made by the learned State counsel, nothing survives in the present petition and the present petition is ordered to be disposed off.
