The instant petition filed under Section 482 of BNSS for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.86 dated 22.08.2024 (Annexure P-1) registered with Police Station NRI, District SAS Nagar, Mohali under Section 420 of the IPC. 2.

Vide order dated 29.09.2025 dispute was referred to Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and arrest of the petitioner was ordered to be stayed till the next date of hearing. Today State counsel on instructions from ASI Raj Kumar submits that the cancellation report has already been prepared and same has already been submitted before the court of concerned Magistrate. Therefore, the instant petition can be disposed of, at this stage, as being not maintainable. 3.

In view of the submissions made by the learned State counsel present petition is disposed of, with a direction to the trial Court to decide the cancellation report expeditiously, and till then petitioner shall not be arrested in the instant case. However, it is also made clear that in case any adverse order is passed by the learned Magistrate, petitioner would be at liberty to seek revival of the present petition. 4.

Petition stands disposed of.
