Through the instant writ of habeas corpus, as cast under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks issuance of directions upon the official respondents No.2 and 3 to get released his daughter, detenu Kajal Garg, from the illegal custody of the respondent No.4.

At the very outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner has made a submission before this Court that the instant writ becomes rendered infructuous, as the alleged detenu Kajal Garg has joined the company of the petitioner.
