(Oral) In this Criminal Writ Petition, the petitioner sought direction to the respondents for his temporarily release on parole on 8 weeks for conducting operation upon his mother, and for taking her care under Section 3(1) (d) of the Punjab Good Conduct Prisoners Temporary Release Act, 1962.

On 04.01.2023, this Court had asked the petitioner to place on record the medical record with regard to illness being suffered by his mother.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he is not able to file record in relation to illness of mother of the petitioner, and in any event the operation of the mother of the petitioner has already been conducted. In view of the statement of the counsel for the petitioner no cause survives in this Criminal Writ Petition for adjudication.
