State of Punjab and others ......Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE SUDEEPTI SHARMA
Present:
None for the appellant.
Mr. Ravneet S. Joshi, DAG, Punjab, for the respondents.
**** SUDEEPTI SHARMA J. (ORAL) 1.
Since 13.09.2024, none has appeared on behalf of the appellant. On the last date of hearing, Registry was directed to issue notice to the appellant as well as his counsel about the next date of hearing. 2.
As per report of the Registry, sole appellant could not be served as he has attained the age of superannuation. However, learned counsel for the appellant was duly notified about the date fixed. 3.
Despite notifying learned counsel for the appellant, none has put in appearance on behalf of the appellant. It seems that the appellant is no more interested in pursuing the matter. Therefore, this Court has no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution. 4.
Accordingly, the present appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution.
5.
