The petitioner seeks quashing of DDR No.16, dated 11.2.2023 registered at Police Station Division No.8, District Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar, under Sections 341, 323, 506 of Indian Penal Code in case FIR No.14, dated 23.1.2023 registered at Police Station Division No.8, District Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar, under Sections 323, 341, 451, 506 and 34 of Indian Penal Code, and all subsequent proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of a compromise stated to have been effected between the parties. 2.

Status report by way of affidavit of Shri Daman Bir Singh, PPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police (North), Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar has been filed by learned State counsel, which is taken on record. 3.

Vide order dated 20.9.2023, the parties had been directed to appear before the Illaqa Magistrate/Trial Court so as to get their statements recorded qua the factum of compromise.

Report of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jalandhar has been received, wherein it has been reported that statements of petitioner/accused Mandeep Singh Dosanj and also of respondents No.2 and 3 namely Anmol Bawa and Gaurav Dua have been recorded to the effect that they have compromised the matter amongst themselves.

Respondents No.2 and 3 namely Anmol Bawa and Gaurav Dua in their statements have stated that they have no objection in case the DDR in question is quashed.

Learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jalandhar has specifically opined that the parties have entered into compromise voluntarily and without any undue influence.

In view of the aforesaid compromise and bearing in mind the law laid down by Full Bench of this Court in 2007(3) RCR (Crl.) 1052 Kulwinder Singh and others Vs.
