(Oral) The present petition under Section 482 CrPC has been preferred by the petitioner seeking issuance of directions to the respondent Nos.1 to 5 to get fair investigation conducted in case FIR No.8 dated 08.03.2023 registered under Sections 324, 506, 148 and 149 IPC (Section 326 IPC was added later on) at Police Station Talwandi Chaudrian, District Kapurthala. 2.

It is, inter alia, contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner got registered the present FIR way back on 08.03.2023. Apprehending motivated investigation, the petitionr had moved the official respondents time and again seeking fair investigation in the matter and also moved the representation dated 03.11.2023 (Annexure P-21), but till date no action thereon has been taken. He submits that for the purpose of this petition, the petitioner will be satisfied if directions are given to respondent No.3 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 03.11.2023 (Annexure P-21) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner. 3.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Sarabjit Singh Cheema, DAG Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and submits that the aforesaid representation will be disposed of by the authority in accordance with law in an expeditious manner.

After considering the respective submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and the averments made in the petition, without commenting on the merits thereof, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 03.11.2023 (Annexure P-21) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner, preferably within a period of 02 months. The decision so taken be intimated to the petitioner as well.
