The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to re-issue his passport with correct date of birth.

The petitioner was issued passport in 2012 wherein the date of birth of the petitioner was recorded as 18.04.2002 whereas as per petitioner his correct date of birth is 26.04.2002. the petitioner vide application dated 01.09.2023 has applied for re-issuance of passport with correct date of birth. 3.

Learned counsel for Union of India, who on advance notice is present in Court submits that passport authority, in terms of instructions issued by Centre Government as well as judgments of this Court would look PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.11.20 16:32 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
