The petitioners had approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect their life and liberty. 2.

At the time of issuance of notice of motion the following order was passed on 6.12.2019:

"The petitioners have approached this Court seeking protection of their life and liberty on the averments that the petitioners, being major, had amicably resolved to spend their lives under one roof against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 6 and the petitioners are apprehending threat to their life and liberty at their instance. Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Ajun Singh Yadav, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3. Copy of paper PANKAJ KAKKAR 2021.07.01 19:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Notices to respondents No.4 to 6 be issued for that date after filing of process fee and be also given dasti, if so desired. In the meanwhile, respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Sirsa is directed to look into the grievances of the petitioners as set out in the petition and also expressed in the representation dated 01.12.2019 (Annexure P-3) and take appropriate action for protection of their life and liberty as may be warranted by the circumstances.

Registry is directed to send a copy of this order along with copy of the petition and above said representation to respondent No.2Superintendent of Police, Sirsa for requisite compliance." 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that upon passing of the aforesaid order dated 6.12.2019, the grievances of the petitioners virtually stand addressed.

In view of the aforestated position, wherein respondent respondent No.2Superintendent of Police, Sirsa had already been directed to look into the matter, no further directions are required to be issued. 5.

The present petition stands disposed off accordingly. 6.

It is, however, clarified that passing of the aforesaid order shall not confer any immunity upon the petitioners in case it is found that they have committed any wrong.
