1. By way of filing the instant petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to add new weapon on the arms licence.

2. Without commenting anything as regards the assertions made in the petition or the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-District Magistrate, Bathinda, to consider the representation dated 09.10.2023 (Annexure P-3) in accordance with law and to dispose of the same by passing a speaking order expeditiously.

3. A copy of this order along with copy of representation dated 09.10.2023 (Annexure P-3) be sent to respondent No.2-District Magistrate, Bathinda, for necessary compliance.
