*** RITU BAHRI, ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE (Oral) CM-4857-LPA-2023 For the reasons stated in the application, same is allowed and delay of 89 days in filing the appeal is condoned.

Main Case The appellant has come up in appeal against the judgment dated 19.07.2023 passed by the Learned Single Bench, whereby his petition i.e. CWP No.24367 of 2016 has been dismissed; and order dated 10.10.2023 passed in RA-CW344 of 2023 vide which his review application has also been dismissed. A perusal of the impugned judgment shows that a medical board had been constituted by the PGIMER, Chandigarh whereby height of the appellant who applied for the post of Sub Inspector, was measured and as per the report given by the said Board, his height was recorded as 170.1 cms. and the minimum requirement was 170.18 cms.

Since the appellant was the only candidate whose height was measured by the board of Doctors in the PGIMER, Chandigarh and his height was less than the minimum requirement, we are not inclined to interfere in the judgment passed by the Learned Single Bench.
