NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for setting aside the order dated 19.11.2019 vide which a direction has been issued by the Executing Court to hand over the vacant possession. While praying for setting aside, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the rent appeal is still pending, which is fixed for 17.12.2019. In view of the above, the present revision petition is disposed of with a direction to the appellate authority to decide the said appeal on the date already fixed before it or within one week of the date fixed. Till then, the petitioner may not be dispossessed. However, in case the petitioner seeks adjournment in the rent appeal or hearing of the appeal is delayed at the behest of the petitioner, in any manner, the Executing Court shall proceed in accordance with law.
