(Oral) As per the affidavit filed by the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Crime Zone, Jalandhar, it is stated that after seeking a report from the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural), a communication is received on 06.09.2023 that the area security has already been provided to the petitioner - Balram Sharma and the necessary compliance has been made. A copy of the letter is attached as Annexure R-1 with the reply.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous, at this stage.

However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to revive this petition, if so required.
