RITU BAHRI, J. (ORAL) Appellant-wife-Seema Jindal has come up in appeal against the judgment and decree dated 04.09.2018 passed by the Additional District Judge, Sangrur, whereby petition filed by the respondent-husband under Sections 13(1)(ia) and 13(1)(ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1995 has been allowed and decree of dissolution of marriage has been passed. Marriage between the parties was solemnised on 29.11.2008 at Banga Bhawan, near Ram Mandir, Sector 35, Chandigarh as per Hindu rites and there is no child from the said wedlock. They are living separately since 05.03.2011.

As per order dated 08.04.2022, a compromise was effected between the parties and first motion statements were recorded. Their RAVINDER SINGH 2022.05.23 10:58 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

-2FAO-M-1166 of 2018 Aadhar Cards were also taken on record. The case was then adjourned for today to record their second motion statements. Today, as per settlement/compromise between the parties, respondent has paid `6,00,000/- through demand draft No.550042 dated 17.05.2022 to the appellant as permanent alimony, which has been accepted by her. Photocopy of the same is taken on record. Respondent has made a statement in Court that she will withdraw all the pending cases filed by her against the appellant and has undertaken not to initiate any further litigation against him. Second motion statements have also been recorded to this effect and are taken on record. In view of above, learned counsel for the appellant seeks to withdraw this appeal.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
