The prayer in the petition, inter alia, is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioners' case for grant of one increment which became due on 1.7.2022. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before the respondents. At this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied in case the respondents are directed to decide the pending legal notice dated 18.9.2023 (Annexure P9) issued by the petitioner in a specified period. 3.

AG, Haryana, appearing on advance notice, contends that the issue stands settled by the Supreme Court by judgment passed in The Director (Admn. and HR) KPTCL and others v. C.P.
