The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India is seeking directions to the respondents to extend benefit of time bound promotional pay scale.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was inducted as Telephone Attendant w.e.f. 16.09.1981. The petitioner in terms of office order dated 15.03.2000 and 11.12.2008 is entitled to benefit of time bound promotional pay scale as he has completed 16 years of service. The petitioner served upon the respondents legal notice dated 30.11.2022 (Annexure P-8) who in the communication dated 09.02.2023 (Annexure P-10) has admitted claim of the petitioner, however, till date, the petitioner has not been extended said benefit.
