State of Punjab and others ......Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ALOK JAIN ****

Present:

Ms. Avinash Mandla, Advocate for the petitioners. Mr. Siddharth Attri, AAG, Punjab.

**** ALOK JAIN, J. (Oral) 1.

On an oral request made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the main case is preponed and taken on Board today itself. CRM-W-1730-2023 in/and CRWP-11230-2023 1.

The present application has been filed to withdraw the main case.

2.

Although, there is no cogent reason stated in the application for withdrawal of the main case, nonetheless, since, the petitioners want to withdraw the present case, the same is permitted to be withdrawn. It is a case of live-in relationship and the petitioners have not even bothered to take the dasti notices which were to be served upon respondents No. 4 to 6, from whom they alleged the threat perception to be subsisting, which in itself seems to be vague and evasive.
