Seeking setting aside of impugned judgment and order of sentence dated 01.09.2017 passed by Judge, Special Court, Chandigarh whereby the appellant was convicted while allowing the appeal of State, the appellant has come up before this Court by filing the present appeal.

State counsel on instructions from ASI Kuldeep Singh submits that the appellant has expired and has handed over self-attested copy of medical record which is taken on record.

Given the factum of death of the appellant, the main appeal is disposed of as abated. Bail bonds and surety bonds furnished by appellant-deceased stand discharged. Given the death of appellant, CRM No. 11622 of 2018 is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. All pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
