Present petition has been filed for cancellation of the regular bail already granted to respondent No.2, vide order dated 22.07.2025 (Annexure P2), passed in CRM-M-18936-2025 by this Court, in FIR No.196 dated 29.08.2024, under section 103(1) of BNS, 2023, at Police Station Kotwali, District Kapurthala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that prosecution has itself moved an application for bringing on record additional evidence in the form of CCTV footage contained in a pen drive, which is presently pending adjudication before learned Court below.

In view of the said development, counsel submits that petitioner does not wish to press the present petition, at this stage. However, liberty be granted to the petitioner to avail appropriate alternative remedies, by moving an application before learned trial Court at the first instance, after the application filed by the prosecution for leading additional evidence is decided. 3.

In view of the statement made by counsel for the petitioner, present petition stands disposed of, being not pressed, with the liberty as sought and recorded here above.
