Additional affidavit of Sh. Harkirat Kaur Channe, Director School Education (Secondary), Punjab on behalf of the respondent, in terms of the order dated 22.01.2026 filed in Court today is taken on record. Paragraphs 6 and 7 of the said affidavit read as under:- "6. That, it is humbly submitted that, on 06.02.2026, the Department of Finance has issued a clarification vide letter No. FD-FP-206(PFNG)/10//20263FP2 wherein it has stated that, the instruction dated 09.05.2025 would not apply on senior-junior pay anomaly cases pertaining to the period prior to 01.01.2016. The said instructions dated 06.02.2026 are reproduced below:- "I am directed to clarify on the subject cited above and to say that the instructions dated 09.05.2025 of the Finance Department are not applicable to senior-junior pay anomaly (ACP cases) pertaining to the period prior to 01.01.2016.
Meticulous compliance of these instructions shall be ensured at the level of all departments."

That, it is respectfully submitted that, in compliance of the finance department's letter dated 06.02.2026, the respondent would call for the case of VIKAS CHANDER 2026.03.11 16.55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
