MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to the police to register an FIR against respondent No.5 for causing bodily harm to the petitioner, which could be dangerous to his life.

Learned senior counsel for the petitioner has submitted that a complaint was made to the S.H.O., Police Station N.I.T., Faridabadrespondent No.4 way back on 01.12.2021 for taking action against respondent No.5 in view of the serious and categoric allegations levelled against her, however, the authorities concerned had been sitting over the matter and had failed to proceed against respondent No.5. 3.

On the asking of the Court, Ms. Trishanjali Sharma, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Rakesh, has submitted that the complaint dated 01.12.2021 was inquired into by PUNEET SACHDEVA 2023.12.04 18:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document.

CRM-M-60904-2023 -2the authorities concerned, however, no substance was found therein, as a result of which it was filed on 05.01.2022, more so in view of the fact that an FIR already stood registered against respondent No.5 at the instance of grandmother of the petitioner.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the relevant material on record.

This Court would loath to issue directions as prayed for in view of the specific instructions received by learned State counsel that the matter has already been inquired into and filed by the police. 8.
At this stage, learned senior counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the instant petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.

Petitioner, however, is at liberty to avail of his alternative remedies under the Cr.P.C.
