RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondent No.3 - Additional Director General of Police (Security), Punjab, to enhance the security and protection to the petitioners and their family members. Learned State counsel contends that two home guard volunteers would be provided rifle 303 within couple of days from today and regular surveillance would be kept to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners. Considering above submission of learned State counsel, this petition is disposed of with the observation that State machinery would increase the number of police personnel in future as and when required in the need of hour and would not withdraw any of the ten persons till threat perception to the petitioners exists, without intimation to the petitioners.
