Seeking a direction to the police authorities to investigate the FIR captioned above in a fair and impartial manner, the petitioner has come up before this Court by filing the present petition under Section 528 BNSS, 2023. 2.

At the outset, counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be contended and satisfied if respondent no.2-SSP, Jalandhar (Rural) is directed to decide the representation (Annexure P-8) made before him in a time bound manner. 3.

Notice served upon the official respondent(s) through State's counsel. The nature of order this Court proposes to pass, no response of the official respondent(s) is required. 4.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of, with a direction to respondent no.2-SSP, Jalandhar (Rural) to decide the representation (Annexure P-8) submitted by the petitioner, either himself/herself or by delegating the same to any officer not below the rank of IPS, by passing a speaking order, within two months, in accordance with law. The order so passed be communicated to the petitioner as well as to his counsel on his email ID as well.
