The petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking directions to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members at the hands of respondent no.6, who is a Homeguard, posted at Police Station City-2, Abohar, who is threatening the petitioner to falsely implicate him in a case and to kill him and his family members. It is also prayed that representation moved by the petitioner dated 7.8.2025 be decided. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for some time, seeks to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to avail alternative remedy(s) as enunciated in law, including approaching the concerned Magistrate in accordance with law.
