Short reply/Status Report by way of affidavit of Kapil Ahlawat, HPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sadar, Gurugram has been filed by learned State counsel on behalf of respondents No. 3 & 4, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioners has very fairly submitted that the matter has been amicably resolved between the parties and the parents have stated that they have no objection to their relationship. 4.
In compliance of the last order, the petitioners are also present in person and have reiterated the same.

In light of the above, the present petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 4-The SHO, Police Station Sector-53, Gurugram, Haryana, to ensure the protection of life and liberty of the petitioners in accordance with law.

It is made clear that filing or pendency of this petition or any order/direction passed in this petition shall not be an alibi or defence to the petitioners, in case, they are found involved in any illegal activity and the respondent-Authorities shall take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
