**** SURESHWAR THAKUR, J. (ORAL) By way of filing the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioner is seeking quashing of FIR No. 120, dated 21.11.2018, constituting offices under Sections 323, 427, 148, 149 of IPC, registered at Police Station Bariwala, District Sri Muktsar Sahib. The directed report of the Judicial Magistrate concerned has been received. The learned Judicial Magistrate concerned has made in his report, a finding that the compromise entered into, inter se, the petitioners and respondent No. 2 - complainant, and, as is embodied in Annexure P-2, is consensually drawn amongst them. Moreover, the learned Magistrate concerned has stated in his report, that the compromise is genuine, and, also valid besides is made, without any pressure being exercised by the accused, upon, the complainant.
Since, the offences carried in the FIR (supra), are compoundable, and, also when a valid compromise has been entered into, DINESH KUMAR 2021.11.02 17:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRM-M No. 52507 of 2019 (O&M) -2inter se, the accused petitioners, and, the respondent -complainant, besides when the Investigation Officer is stated, at the Bar by the State Counsel, to file a closer report, before the learned Magistrate concerned. Therefore, this Court deems it fit to allow the petition. Consequently, the petition is allowed, and, the FIR (supra) is quashed and set aside.
