ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.301 dated 16.11.2019 registered under Section 326/34 IPC at Police Station Salem Tabri, Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana, District Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to order dated 16.06.2020, the petitioner has already joined the investigation and has fully cooperated in the same. According to him, no injury has been attributed to the petitioner.

On a query of the Court, learned State counsel submits that petitioner has joined the investigation. Further more, he submits that though Section 307 has been added later on in the FIR but the injury qua the said section is not attributed to the petitioner. The same was allegedly caused by main accused i.e. Lal Chand @ Lalli, who is already in custody. SONU 2020.07.21 05:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In view of the above, since custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required and he has already joined the investigation, the petition is allowed. Order dated 16.06.2020 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the petitioner's complying with provisions under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
